The thing Julianna Jerome enjoyed the most about Stewart is the celebrations of different religious holidays like Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukah, and other holidays.

While a student at Stewart School from 1974-1983, music and reading were her best subjects. Miss Jerome still has an interest in music and reading. She now teaches music at Stewart, and she performs and teaches other places.

Her favorite teacher was Mrs. Kutchara because she was creative and fun. In college, Miss Jerome’s major was vocal performance. She enjoys her career, but she wants to be a mom. She thinks that when she was in school that she was a “work in progress.” She also believes that she still continues to be a “work in progress.”

Her best memory from school was building snow sculptures. She is usually praised for music and social skills. Some of her friends from school that she is still in touch with are Katherine Glover and Paul Carmichael. Her advice to Stewart students today is “if you believe in something, stick with your beliefs.”

UPDATE: She has moved onto other adventures.
